A new opportunity has arisen for a full-time Commercial Partnerships & Sales Manager to join the team at Concrete Nation where you will be able to kick some serious business development goals and grow the business through the effective management of industry partnerships.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Promotions, you will be primarily responsible for nurturing the ongoing success of CN’s retail partners whilst executing a strategic focus to convert new business accounts via targeted strategic scaling and sales growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, in particular, the marketing and customer service teams, to ensure CN meets sales budget requirements whilst enhancing and growing national brand awareness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and managing a productive and professional enterprise sales cycle from general enquiries to negotiating and closing sales deals.

  • Coordinating internal sales activity to meet performance objectives for retail and trade as well as customer expectations.

  • Building solid, strategic, sustainable and value-aligned retail and trade partnerships.

  • Taking ownership of all retail quotations with direct engagement to large project builds requiring strategic pricing.

  • Developing and nurturing relationships with key industry personnel such as design and construct companies, architects, interior designers and master builders.

  • Developing CN retailer customer value proposition maps.

  • Developing new CN Flagship Retail Stores including onboarding, ongoing retention, increased product usage, margin and SKU tracking, and increased brand awareness.

  • Developing a 5-year roadmap for retailers, including channels and high growth areas, developing customer personas specific to retail and trade.

  • Working with the Head of Marketing & Promotions to refine CN’s in-store presence and to ensure our Brand Values are upheld across all retail.

Key requirements:

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets, whilst building strong relationships with key retail and trade customers.

  • Demonstrated experience in fostering relationships and partnerships with a strong strategic and commercial mindset.

  • Excellent customer focussed engagement with a clear understanding of what it takes to enhance the customer experience across various customer personas and their path-to-purchase journeys.

  • Ability to develop a strategic sales plan and market channels to achieve sales budget targets.

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Passion for interior design, décor, architecture or a related field is a must.
