Production Coordinator
About the company:
A leader in their market segment our client is a well-known supplier of products into the retail and foodservice industry across Australia. With a purpose-built facility, they manufacture a mix of well know Australian brands. Due to a restructure of the manufacturing department, they are looking for high calibre hands-on Production Coordinator’s to lead, inspire and drive the production team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Production manager, these high calibre individuals will lead all areas of PET beverage line ensuring production targets are met in accordance with the production plan without compromising the food safety and quality of finished product production.
Responsibilities:
Day to day management of production staff ensuring production of premium quality products
Support all activities of the production team to improve output quality and performance
Ensure the development, implementation and direction of best manufacturing practices
Manage labour costs and budgets to ensure value and benefit to the business.
Ensure your department operates at peak efficiency, allowing maximum sustainable profitability, whilst maintaining all quality and safety requirements.
Work with maintenance team to develop suitable maintenance plans and registers to ensure all plant and equipment in your area is maintained and in good working order at all times.
Key requirements:
Formal tertiary qualifications, with a Minimum of 2 + years’ experience in similar role overseeing a food or beverage manufacturing line
Demonstrated ability to manage labour costs and budgets whilst nurture a team first culture
Specific expertise in maintenance, quality, health and safety in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing HACCP and GMP standards
