With a new leadership team in place and a strategic plan to double through acquisition, they are currently seeking an ambitious Manufacturing Manager to join their senior leadership team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this exciting opportunity will see you lead all aspects of the production department to ensure key targets are met adhering to the company’s high quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of the production team, monitoring production schedules to meet customer delivery targets.
Ensure the manufacturing facility operates at peak efficiency, allowing maximum sustainable profitability, whilst maintaining all quality and safety requirements.
Ensure the development, implementation, and direction of best manufacturing practices for the manufacturing site.
Mentor and lead a team of production supervisors, developing and promoting from within the environment.
Quality control of raw and finished goods.
Key requirements:
Formal tertiary qualifications, with a minimum of 3 + years experience in a similar role within an FMCG manufacturing environment preferably in pharmaceuticals, personnel care or cosmetics.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate your staff to consistently meet and exceed expectations whilst providing a fun and safe environment.
Specific expertise in maintenance, quality, health, and safety.
Excellent interpersonal and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate outcomes within tight time frames.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
Ability to multi-task responsibilities, particularly during busy periods.
