Warehouse Supervisor- PM Shift

About the role
Overseeing a team of 40 across the shift, you will be responsible for the total operations of the highly automated warehouse from inbound to outbound and maintenance. In addition to this you will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiates and driving efficiencies across the operation.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and providing 'hands on' support across the warehouse operations from receipting, storage, pick, pack, replenishment, dispatch and inventory control.
Providing efficient and effective service, ensuring orders and expectations, are fulfilled
Managing and prioritising the flow of orders
Effectively utilise equipment, monitor and maintain staff levels and allocate work requirements
Providing support and advice to the team, troubleshooting warehouse operational issues, inventory and transportation requirements
Skills and experience
Proven and demonstrated experience as an operations supervisor in a fast-paced distribution warehouse.
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Extensive knowledge of OH&S practices
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
Strong overall supply chain knowledge.
Ability to multi-task responsibilities, particularly during busy periods.
Solid computer skills including the use of ERP systems
