About the role
Reporting to the Production Manager, this role will see you lead all aspect of the production planning function ensuring all production demands are met. Using your working knowledge of production planning and scheduling you will provide up to date production reports to all relevant stakeholders
Responsibilities:
Coordinate all planning and scheduling activities to meet production targets
Communicate production priorities to production manager
Generate planning reports, identifying, and managing potential shortfalls
Adjust production schedule based on forecast sales and confirmed orders
Attend all production meetings communicating with all relevant stakeholders ensuring production demands are met.
Key Requirements:
Trade qualified with a proven experience as a production planner in a manufacturing environment preferably in the automotive, steel fabrication or General engineering industry.
Excellent time management and sense of urgency
Working knowledge of ERP planning systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to engage with production staff
Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate outcomes within tight time frames
