Due to continued success and growth of the business, we have a fantastic opportunity for a result driven, energetic and dedicated individual to fill the position of Production Planner.
About the role
Reporting to the S&OP Manager, you will be a high performing and talented individual with the knowledge and experience to assist in the management of the daily production planning.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in the management of the daily production plans based on requirements driven by demand and sales forecasts.
Ensuring the demand planning process is accurate and verifiable
Analyse production capacity and suggest the potential capacity challenges
Liaise with Production to understand needs and prioritise operations ensuring maximum performance and minimum delay
Drive continuous improvement in the performance of production to meet demand.
Identifying issues impacting supply and liaising with stakeholders.
Key requirements:
5+ years’ experience in a Production planner role in a FMCG environment
Food Manufacturing experience with short shelf life/daily fresh product
S&OP Management/experience is required
Capacity Planning and production scheduling experience
Experience in developing and implementing processes designed to optimise order fulfilment efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams and functions to achieve outcomes.
